pic GROUP MINISTRIES & STUDIES

SMALL GROUPS: We encourage everyone to participate in the small group that is best suited to their interests and needs. Small groups provide an excellent way to break down the "large crowd" that comes to the Sunday morning services into smaller gatherings of people. We offer a wide variety of small groups for adults based on interests and needs. Our small groups are designed to be a place to make new friends and build a spiritual support network in which we can learn to minister to others as well as receive ministry from others, deepen current relationships and provides a comfortable setting in which to study God's Word and apply it to our lives. If you want to check out a small group please call or email us.
THRU-THE-BIBLE: Wednesdays at 6:00 pm is a time for fellowship and learning as we travel through the Bible from Genesis to Revelations, a few chapters each week. There is a Question and Answer time as well as an in-depth discussion of each chapter--an invaluable combination. Dinner is served beforehand at a cost of $4.50 per person. Come at 5:45 pm and eat with us or just join us for the study portion only at 6:30 pm. Please RSVP to the church office for the meal. For more information, please call or email us.
EVANGELISM EXPLOSION: Evangelism Explosion (EE) is a ministry that trains people in how to share their faith in Christ and how to bring people from unbelief to belief. The training utilizes a variety of components such as prayer and actual on-the-job training where the experienced lead the inexperienced. On-the-job training is a vital ingredient in EE. By actually going out with the experienced trainers in real life witnessing situations, people learn how to share their faith. Much like learning to fly an airplane would be impossible without actually getting in the cockpit, evangelism would be difficult without leaving the confines of the classroom. By learning small parts of the Gospel each week, including Bible verses and illustrations, people grasp a Gospel tool that becomes a lifelong mission. GPC provides EE training, each session lasting approximately 13 weeks. EE training consists of classroom time on Sunday evenings where participants engage in creative training methods to gain understanding in how to present the Gospel in a non-threatening way. This is followed by either on-the-job training time or skit-training time, varying each week. Interested? Inquire at the church office about the next EE study.
